Mission for Mission

Over this past seasons giving has continued toward helping to build a school in Mission. We had the priviledge of meeting short-term teams who have poured their sweat and blood into building this school. It's been great to see the growth. This year we hope to be able to continue to give as the project moves along. New hope is for the school to open 2015!

El Buho, "The Owl"

Kelly and I will have the privilege of running the coffee shop, El Buho. Gena and Andrew created The Owl in 2010. This will be our platform to minister to the local community and the international climbing community that come every year to climb the mountains of Protrero Chico.

Bridging the Gap

Another part of our ministry will be to continue to bridge the gap between the local community and the climbing community. The Owl is the platform by which we will do so. With not a lot of "hang out" spots, The Owl is the perfect place for community. Board games, a library, wi-fi, and a great cup of coffee allows for building of relationships and sharing of cultures.

Make Him Famous

What Kelly and I look most forward to is to serve the local and international communities in Hidalgo. We want to Shine His light through living our lives like Jesus. Through creating relationships, serving, and community outreach, we hope to create a level of trust in order to share the gospel and make the name of Jesus famous.
